If I wasn't so tired...

I would have gotten up 3 hours ago and got on the treadmill.

I would have vacuumed and dusted and scrubbed the bathroom and even done some laundry.

I would have gone to the mall and had a quick look around.
Then pondred a few purchases.

I would have written my sister a letter and mailed it (I was given a Yen as a tip and Michelle's the only one I know that can use it).

I could have taken the bird for a drive to visit all his friends at Petsmart.

I could go bargain hunting for a new VCR as mine has decided to become a paper weight/doorstop.

All there things and more I could do if I wasn't so tired. I had two trainee's last night on the same window - makes balancing a little difficult. Then I had a new supervisor come in and she's a tad incompetent so balancing took even longer. By the time I got home I was starving and wide awake and it was nearly 3AM. Now it is 1:30pm and I have to get ready for work as I should be leaving here in an hour and a half.

I have an interesting plan for tonight - hopefully I will be able to get my trainees out earlier. and myself home earlier too!

After a weekend like this do I want to return to work!

Unfortunately I have to - but I am so tired and it has been an incredible weekend I would hate for it to end.
I am still in awe after last night's performance. I even found the BNL BLog and left a comment about last night. I may comment again and see if the boys will attend the Relay for life in Niagara as they are playing at the Casino on the same weekend... it would be really cool.

But I should get ready, and get my Man out of here as he has a BBQ to attend for the wedding he is in this September.

Just when you think your favorite band has peaked at perfection...

They manage to blow your mind.

The Barenaked Ladies with the Toronto Symphony orchestra was absolutely amazing, incredible, fabulous stimulating, emotionally gripping and just down right COOL! The played War on Drugs - a song about depression and suicide and being there to support and catch others in their time of need... and I was moved to tears, it was bittersweet - made me melt and go mushy inside... reminds me why I am still alove, the love and support of my friends, and the music of "friends" that know my thoughts before I do.

There are so many things I want to say about tonight, the perfectness of the evening, getting Steve Pages autograph (very cool), I looked hot and was having a great hair day. But I prefer to bask in the afterglow of a great evening... a performance I will never forget.

What a way to start of the week...

or end the week - I guess it depends on how you look at it.

Eveyone knows that my favorite band of all time is the Barenaked Ladies, and although I am totally in love with Steven Page I'm not a stalker and don't go on the web site every week, it's more like twice a year. (I even found his address and haven't driven by.) Well as it turns out, my darling boyfriend was listening to the Mix and heard that they are playing a sold out show Saturday night(tonight) with the TSO at Roy Thompson Hall. We stopped in at RTO to check out the music and see his sister-in-law... and picked up tickets for tonights show. I am so excited!

And to think we were just going to see a movie this weekend and hang out - this is so much better!
